Solid wrap up, but I think I would have to strongly disagree about the running game comment. After spending an offseason learning the nuances of the running game, Grant should be even better. I would also disagree on Spitz and Colledge. I may be in the minority here (perhaps the only one who thinks this way), but I would rather stick with Colledge than Spitz at guard. Colledge looks dominant at times run blocking, and you can always give a guard help in pass protection. But I think he has more potential to be really good. Spitz got manhandled by Robbins in the NFCC, as did Wells. A thought might be to move Spitz to center and make Wells a backup interior lineman.
However, with all that said, I wouldn't be hasty in making a change. Line play, especially zone blocking, is about team line play and technique. You would have to think that another offseason in the weight room and on the practice field would go a long way for these guys. Then again, I won't complain if we sign Faneca.
As for your ratings, I would give the passing game an A-, the running game a B-, the rush defense a B, the pass defense a B-, and special teams an A-. The coaching staff gets a B+... because I think it took them too long to go to Wynn, with this being an example of how the staff was a bit slow to make certain adjustments.

Thanks for the wrap up. For some reason it was more fun to listen to this year. Though I think the grade averages came out to a B which is pretty tough for a 13-3 team that made it to the NFC Championship. But I couldn't really disagree with much that you said. It seemed like a lot of the breaks went the Packers way this year. Right up until that NFC Championship game anyway.
I think I have reached the point of Farve acceptance.
3 or 4 years ago when it first came up I had denial. He can't be thinking of retirement already. Thats crazy. He's playing fine, they'll build a team around him.
Then came anger. He stinks, he's already thinking of leaving. Had he really wanted to stay he'd play better. If the press would leave him alone he'd play better. He's screwing with us.
Then a couple of years ago bargaining. Just stay a couple more years Brett. Give Rodgers a couple of years to come up to speed. Stick around and break some records. Please.
Last year they were on the rise at the end and Rodgers hadn't impressed and it was depressing. He's going to walk away from a team on the rise and they are going to stink. He'll leave all those records just sitting there. It will be at least another year to adjust to a new quarterback. Just when things were starting to look up.
Now I have accepted it. Whatever Brett wants to do is fine. We have the core of a good young team. They will do well with him next year. However, it is a good young team and this may be a good time to find out if the Tiffany quarterback is the man of the future or if we need to find someone else. If we do better to do it while the team is still on the rise. We don't want to be a Chicago or Baltimore with a lot of talent and no results. So it's cool either way.
And finally, I'm glad Chris mentioned it. Next years schedule looks like a beast. After looking at it my expectations dropped a notch or two.
