Can you guys help a cyber challenged lady here? How do I add an avatar and signature to my posts here?

goto my controls then on the left side you will see add a signature and add a avatar.

What is an avatar? How do I add a picture like the one you have under your name PACKmanN?

The forum term for that picture is 'avatar.' If you follow PACKmanN's directions you will get to the spot where you can add the picture.

ok, I've got my avatar but as you can see I haven't figured out how to get those codes out of my signature! Help?

Go to my controls, edit signature, update signature, start over... Create sig, highlight sig, then add color, font size, etc... then update signature. That should do it.
