This last Bears game was the first one of the year I ended up missing. I have it TiVo'd but don't think I'll be able to make myself watch it. I was flying home to Wisconsin via Chicago during the game. Of course we were stranded at O'hare for about 4 hours (before finally having to ditch our Madison flight and get on a Van Galder bus to Janesville... Did I mention I hate Chicago), which made the travel day even more miserable. I had plenty of Packer clothes on though and decided not to take it off even after I heard about the thumping.

Anyway, I spent my time in Chicago coming up with little come backs for Bear fans I thought I'd share:

5 - GB was in the christmas spirit.
4 - Didn't want to double up Chicago's number of victories this year. Felt bad for them.
3 - Brett and everyone on the Pack was distracted making plans for New Years Eve parties.
2 - The Bears still suck (I didn't make this one up..)
1 - Loosing to Chicago 35-7 is just part of TT and MMs master plan: Make the Bears enter the offseason thinking that Kyle Ortin is a franchise type QB, thereby guaranteeing years of future victories over the bears.

If anyone else has some fun stuff to help us deal with the Bear fans, let me know... :-)

BTW, my flight to Chicago to return home was also cancelled... so ... back on the Van Galder bus. Lots of fun with a 14 month old... Did I mention I hate Chicago?
