What Packer fans should be most concerned with is the entire roster making a significant run in the playoffs, and not whether the Vikings have more starters in the Pro Bowl, which I've had no interest in, in years!!

The Pro Bowl selection process is a joke!! Bubba Franks?!! It's a popularity contest. Players vote for their friends on other teams, or "name" players, not the guys who deserve to go. Fans vote for players on their teams. (I think the Packer players chosen deserve it nevertheless).

thanks for the Podcast.

By the way, the two ints by Bret were terrible. If he does that in the playoffs it'll be one and out guaranteed.

Hard not to agree on any of your points, particularly the above. We need to see the Brett that QBed the team in those weeks right before the DAL game.

I take the strategic view of things, even though it hurts to get ignored by others, we are really better off having fewer guys make it.

Dissed players seem to play with a chip on their shoulder.

Players get more $$ when they make it, making it harder to sign them in the future.

One more meaningless game in which a good player could be hurt.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I agree- the game itself is a joke. However, the players believe the honor of going to the game is important. No- not for the money, or going to Hawaii. They want to earn the respect of being named as the best at their position for this year. That the Cowboys had 11, and the Vikings 7, while the Packers had 4- that is truly a sad commentary on the selection process. Of course, a good run in the playoffs would probably salve a lot of wounds. smile.gif
