In Episode 76, Chris announced Dave's Xmas gift to map where listeners to the excellent Packers Therapy Podcast download their weekly fix.

For me that's Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, UK. Unfortunately this is in NW England, however I will always spiritually be in my ancestral home of Scotland!!!

Feel free to contribute your location so that we can broaden Dave's horizons (and global knowledge).

Go Pack Go!

Slainte

John

By the way, Episode 77 is now up!!

Thanks, John!

The map is now mounted and Dave and I put the first set of pins in it today. We checked back through the threads and couldn't find any one in South America or Africa. Let us know where you listen to the show so that we can represent you on the map--particularly if you are in either of our "missing" continents.

They go baa, and BAA, and Baa and bAA.....and they do it together, in harmony.

They like it, and five million sheep cannot be wrong, right...

It sounds cool enough from someone in Bristol, England....especially when I'm in the middle of the scrum that is Bristol shopping centre, on the pre-Christmas weekend.

Thanks for your podcast! I listen every week for your take on the Packers. I grew up in Central Wisconsin and I ended up in So. Cal. There are plenty of football fans out here but they don't know football like Packer's Fans. My family dresses in Packer's garb each week while we watch the Packer's march to Arizona.

Thanks again!

Hey guys. I have been listening for two years now. I started in Berkeley, California, listened for a year in Hong Kong, and I now listen from Providence, RI. I appreciate what you guys do, especially since I seem to be the lone Packer fan wherever I am. Thanks for putting your time into something that makes other people happy while asking nothing in return. It's a rare thing these days. Merry Christmas.

Hey, that's the way I use Packers talk, too: After every Packers game I listen to the post-game show while walking (outside when the weather is decent; on the treadmill in my basement when it is like it has been in WI the past month).

Glad I can help someone get their exercise in the same way others help me to do the same thing!

Dave,

when I lived in China and first started listening - subscribed from the second episode onwards - the city was called Nanjing, population 6-8million, approx 200 miles west of Shanghai. I remember Chris wondered whether it was similar to Nanking, after WWII history. In terms of the Rape of Nanjing, it is one and the same.

Good luck with the map, I look forward to seeing it.

Cheers,
Luke

Hamburg, Germany calling...

Great show again!

As I've mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago, I'm a listener from (I think) day one...found u on iTunes back then and subcribed ever since.

For me, living so far away, it's fantastic to ride to work with my iPod and listen to some insider- and local news from two guys, who seem as enthusiastic about the packes as I am. Every game, I suffer through each play, hoping the offense will score and the defense will stop the oponent. (Via Packers Radio Network with Wayne and Larry...who are my other two favourite radio-hosts!)

I'm born danish but live in Hamburg, Germany for many years now.

I was in Green Bay in September 2001 and if u should be interested in hearing more about this impressive trip just let me know....maybe in offseason this could be a subject for some shows...let people tell you about their memorable trips to Lambeau Field smile.gif

So...thanks for all the great work...only suggestion I have: do it more often!

Cheers,
Henrik

Hello from Okinawa Japan. Yes guys I posted a review for you on Itunes and have had the pleasure of listening to you ever since my beautiful wife bought me an Ipod. I love my Green Bay Packers. I am in the US Navy 18 years as a Deep Sea Diver. Maybe youve heard of us. Some of us were up there in Minnesota not to long ago on the I-35 bridge collapse. Well I am out here with the Marines and it sure is a lonely Island and my hour drive to work of no choice of mine sure is better when I can listen to you guys talk about the green and gold. Go Pack Go.

Glad we can make that commute a little more manageable for you, Jake. Comments like yours are highly encouraging to us. Thanks for that, and for your service to our country.

Wow- I am impressed. I am really curious as to how non-Americans (no offense meant) became Packers fans. I'd be really interested in hearing your stories! And, yes, I'm posting from Harlingen, Texas. Originally from Sheboygan and Milwaukee. Harlingen is approximately 25 miles from the Mexican border, and about 40 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and South Padre Island. I know I'm not the only Texas Packers fan here- where are the rest?

Hey Chris,

Any chance you can post a picture of the map? Or post stats? I'm curious where everyone listening to the podcast is myself. Maybe you could do something with Google Maps pins? Anyway, would be cool to see.

The plan is to post a picture of the map, probably after the season is over. For now I can tell you that we have listeners on four continents and are doing very well in Japan, Australia, and the Middle East (it is good to know that Dave and I are doing something to boost the morale of guys serving the country in the military).

When I get a picture and post it, I will be sure to let folks on this board know.

Thanks for checking in, Cat. Glad you like the podcast.

We are scheduled to record the next installment on Monday afternoon. We are in uncharted territory for the show -- we started in '05 and haven't had a post-season to talk about before. So I am kind of interested to hear what we are going to say, too!

US Navy Deep Sea Diver from River Falls WI. 18 years cant wait to come home. I posted on Itunes for ya. Enjoy the Podcast driving to work. I really think Im having deja vu to 96. So many simalarities Dalllas losing game comes to Green Bay.... Patriots.... wouldnt it be great for the Pack to give them their first and worst loss. I believe this is the best Packer team ever where is the hole, we are healthy. Go Pack Go.
