I love the Official Game Day thread, the excitement, and emotions of the posters before, during and after the game. What is the advantages/disadvantages of going into the Chat Room instead. I've noticed the game day thread consists of quite a few relatively new posters, if thats significant. Without having ever "chatted" I imagine it's pretty much mirrors the thread. Just wondering why both, and again, love your Game Day Thread!

Just to throw in my opinion. I prefer the thread but thats only because if Im at home watching the game, my TV is another room from computer, so if I have something to say Ill run in and type it in a thread and then run out. I do that so if someone has a response to me Ill be able to see it without having to look to hard for it like I would in a chat room.

The Chat Rooms are open 24/7 but for Game Day people really like the 'live' atmosphere feeling....almost like you are in the same room with the fans face to face.

Our initial idea was to have a Chat Transcript available after each game for those to view that could not attend but w/o sufficient moderating things tend to get a little to 'testy' at times for publication.

Both will continue however.
