Full Version: Offensive linemen news article

In the paper today the columnist says "It's hard to fathom any team worse ..at drafting offensive linemen during the last decade. ....They have wasted premium draft picks on guys who didn't wwork out for whatever reason."

That wasn't written in any Green Bay or local paper but the Dallas Morning News. There have been many discussions in these forums about the Packer's not being able to draft suitable linemen. Well I guess you can add Dallas and probably many other clubs to the same problem. Never easy judging talent that is NFL ready or capable.

Just so everyone knows we aren't alone in our complaints about drafting suitable players.

Yeah, but these same idiot writers are the ones complaining that the Cowboys don't have enough playmakers in the aftermath of the loss to the Packers. Whitten, Romo, Barber, Jones, Austin, Williams...no playmakers?

The writers just miss their abusive relationship with T.Owens. I'm sure their readership has declined since he left.

I think the plays these "playmakers" are supposed to make aren't -
sack/fumbles, int's, dropped passes and 3 yd runs.

Thats mostly what I saw Sunday from them.

I think the Pack has a few more playmakers
(on both sides of the ball) than many people
give them credit for.

Go Pack!!
