Sounds about right to me.

If that comment doesn't set a fire under the organization nothing will.

As a Cowboys fan, I think I speak for all of us when I say Crayton should keep his trap shut.

I disagree Heat. MM has protected his comments of his players . He has not thrown anyone under the bus. Right or wrong if that was a Packer making that statement I would be dissapointed.

He throws his players under the bus everytime he says the coaching and scheme are not the problem.

I tend to agree with your statement.

I also feel it is more acceptable to be criticized by Family than an outsider, especially a cowboy which rank just lower than the Bears and Viqueens, which is lower than a snakes belly.

MM is very consistent with his comments - portraying responsibility and reasoning even handedly and accepting his fair share. If a player (or coach) fails to execute (something which has occured quite a bit this year) its proper for the coach to cite that perfomance or area as one needing improvement.

He's not gone off on any rants against individual players that I can recall.

Its the fans & media who have the busses lined up.

I don't ever remember McCarthy throwing a player under the bus. If anything I think he's been too easy on a lot of these guys. He never chews anyone out in public. Never benches a non-first year player. The players clearly have no fear of him when they do something wrong (which isn't to say they don't respect him).

To paraphrase Larry Beightol, you can't make chicken salad from chicken sh!t.

Crayton should know. He's seen it first hand every year he's been in Dallas.

Too bad Dallas does not have more of him. We may have had a chance of beating them.
