This is the trade. I trade Schaub,Fitz ; I get Brees, R.White, K.Smith

What do I do?

Playoff weeks 15-17

Week 17 Schaub plays in NE (cold, snow?)

But R.White plays Jets week 15. (shutdown CB)

I think you stand pat. And here's why:

1. You already have a Top 5 QB on your roster. Upgrading to Brees is strictly for name value alone. Schaub has had health concerns in the past, but Brees has tons of help this year and isn't doing it all by himself. This is a long shot, but Brees may be sitting more towards the end of the year as playoffs near, ya never know. Schaub on the other hand is fighting for a WC in AFC. But in all honesty, this is a numbers business, so just look at the digits, despite throwing 2 more picks, Schaub and Brees numbers are similar. Which means it comes down to....

2. Why trade Larry Fitz? He's in his own elite company that Roddy White just can't touch. Look at Fitz schedule down the stretch, doesn't that make you want to salivate?

3. Do you really need Kevin Smith? You have 5 decent/to average reason why you don't.

Case close. Keep your roster intact and go win a Championship.

I wouldn't even consider this trade if I were in your shoes - you'll do better w/ current group.

1. Schaub & Fitz are scoring better than Brees & White.
2. Schaub's schedule: Ten, Ind, Jax, Sea, StL, Mia, NE vs. Brees': TB, NE, Was, Atl, Dal, TB, Car
3. Fitz': StL, Ten, MN, SF, Det, StL, GB vs White's: NYG, TB, Phi, NO, NYJ, Buf, TB

Scaub and Brees are about the same and White and Fitz are about the same, and so when you look at the later match ups, you want to do it.

But you're over-analyzing this thing WAY to much. Sure there's a chance your worries could become true, but this is way to risky to trade just to get better match ups. These guys got you to 7-1, just ride them the rest of the way.

Whatever happens, happens. But I myself would not do this trade.
