Interesting interactive display on each of Green Bay's opponents this year. Shows where each sack came from and occurred. Not sure what can be drawn from this, other than that the line -- across the board -- is terrible, but interesting nonetheless.

Actually, this re-enforces what I have thought all season. We do have one O-Lineman who is doing a good job and that's Sitton. He has not given up a sack yet this year and is usually doing a great blocking for the RBs. I don't know that I've heard his name mentioned more than once or twice by the gameday announcers and that' a good thing.

Good call.

I'd say right now Sitton is our only real solid lineman. Lang is close behind.

I was talking to a guy at work here's what we came up with. I'd try to build around Sitton and Lang. Barbre and Giacomini get one more off season to show something. Maybe we have something with Detrich-Smith, but not sure. Cliffy and Tausch are gone, as starters at least. Wells and Spitz seem to be average players. Not terrible, but probably a weak link. Give Spitz one more shot at center as he only had 2 games there before the O-Line shuffle began this year. Colledge, unless he becomes a better than average player next training camp, doesn't make the team, or makes it as a Low cost backup.

I'd like 1 starter in the draft this year. 1st or 2nd round guy that can walk in and start. Not sure if it can happen.
I'd like 1 starter from FA this year. May be an older vet or someone who just needs a starting chance.

Then, based on where those 2 guys are, I'd keep Sitton at RG and put Lang at another spot that will be his to grow into.

After that, fill in the best available spot with the best available guy on the bench. May be Barbre, Giacomini, or even give Detrich-Smith a shot. Colledge, Wells, and Spitz have 1 chance and only 1 roster spot between them. Tausch and Cliffy are brought back if either of them will be a veteran mentor/backup.

Starters:
1 FA
1 DP
Sitton
Lang

Other Starter and 1 backup: (2 of these 5, depending on position)
Wells
Spitz
Colledge
Barbre
Giacomini

Development:
Detrich-Smith

Vet Leadership/Backup: (1 of these)
Tausch
Cliffy
Other FA

That gives us 8 Total. We may keep 1 more as a 2nd development player.
