Does TT add ANOTHER WR to the active roster? Six wide receivers on the active roster, zero offensive lineman on the practice squad to try to develop.

Kendall Simmons was released a few days ago by the Patriots. Former Steelers 1st round pick. Experienced vet. Wouldn't you think he would at the very least be checked out?

There are also a few rookie o-lineman on other teams practice squads who would be better additions than Biren Early.

Tackle Gerald Cadogan and Center AQ Shipley, both from Penn State are out there for the taking. But I guess in TT's world a 6th wr makes more sense.

This is more than a little out of context.

Jennings and Driver are both banged up and missed practice time. Nelson is down and Swain was put on the injured reserve. Allen was promoted from the practice squad and got hurt in practice right away and his status for Sunday was in doubt.

I am not a TT apologist, but heading into a game with one healthy WR (James Jones) would have been a far more neglegent act IMO

The voice of reason. I would think that getting immeadiately injured will just about do it for Jake Allen with GB.

Green Bay has re-signed OG Stanley Daniels to the PS. He takes the place of WR Biren Ealy, who was promoted to the 53-man roster last week.

We still have those 3 valuable FB's on our squad. We certainly ahve to keep all of them.

Could we perhaps, even for a day, be somewhat positive and upbeat? I also agree that this season is not the one I envisioned, but could we just, perhaps for a day, look at what is good and right about this team, and try to be optimistic?

Of course, all that would be called off after the Cowboys game. wink.gif

Can't really disagree with Bruce, we need the WR...

This does seem to add a little to my developing theory that TT does not see value in offensive linemen. I think he sees them all as interchangeable parts that can be paid as little as possible. I think it is going to take 2-3 years to re-build the line.

Thanks. I have had problems getting my password reset! sad.gif

I also gave myself a 'time-out'. All of the drama with Brett and TT was starting to get to me.
