Sigh, I hate to say this but...

Vikings.

Packers, and it won't even be close.

Don't just vote. Make your point!

12th man pouts the pack over the top. 30-17 Packers. Close through three the BF throw two picks in the 4th.

Last time, having only 1 competent safety, at the time, cause the Packers secondary to be picked apart. This time, it is the other way around with the Queens missing their starting CB and the Packers secondary healthy. Also, its in Lambeau, so the penalties should at least be somewhat evened out. 12th man will be a huge factor in this game.

Green Bay takes this game 31-17.

I already made my call in another thread, but here it is again.

Packers 41, Vikings 24

- Rodgers will use his check-down receivers a LOT better than the 1st meeting.
- Jennings will emerge to haul-in 6 passes for 150 yds.
- The Vikes will be playing from behind (27-10 at the half), forcing BF to attempt to "take over" the game.
- More pressure on Favre... 3 INT's and 3 sacks.
- Crosby nails a 64 yrd FG to end the 1st half (I know...that would be an NFL record!)
- In mop-up duty on the last drive, Ahman scampers for a "Dagger" touchdown run of... 47 yards.

ALL thunder is stolen from Favre on Sunday, with the Crosby record FG and Ahman's All-Time Rushing Record. Fast forward to January 3, BF announces retirement after a season in which the Vikings miss the wildcard spot after losing the last 6 games of the season.

Looks about right except you missed a shankwell missed FG attempt early in the game after Capers defense stops the ******* offense

Just watched Oregon thump USC.

Looking for more Green dominance tomorrow! Pack 31 - MN 24

I typically pencil in a Win for Minny in the dome and a win for the Pack at home every year. THis one was no different.

Not to mention the slower field surface.

Or else, they play nearly unbeaten after losing today and proceed to the NFC championship game. Then the opponent converts a 4th and 26 near the end of the game, proceeds to tie it, and in overtime Brett throws an interception deep in their own territory, which the opponent uses to score the sudden death points.

Minnesota fans invite Brett to take a train home the next morning.

Then I hope we shut down Rice. I think that will be the key to winning.

After reading through this thread, I'm guessing some reality is settling in this morning.

Yes your right, I should have said slow down Favre to have a chance to win this game.
