Bruce, it's guys like this that make a difference. when injuries occur and that next guy steps up, it makes a difference in losing and winning.
Yes, Havner is a surprising player, who had ever thought he could step in and play like this....Havner is a football player who seems to be physically and mentally ready to play on a whistles notice at more than one position. many even questioned his spot on the final 53, maybe now we know the rest of the story.
Guys like Jermichael Finley. last year, his rookie year, was there ever a more green ,immature player?
2nd year he is probably our no 4 PLAYMAKER on offense behind only Rodgers, Jennings and Driver AND has developed as a blocker. Finley goes down then Havner steps up....cooincedence? Lee keeps improving/developing.....hmmmmmmmm
I wonder why we don't talk about BOB McADOO, the position coach who has put these players in a position to contribute to this team. Mac's position group keeps elevating their play and improving this team
More than that I'd like to ask McAdoo"Bob, have you ever coached Offensive Line?"
I agree that McAdoo is doing well at coaching, however, I don't think it is Bob.

He was the NBA Player. The Packers coach is BEN McAdoo.
In regards to your question on coaching offensive line, in 2005 he was the assistant Offensive Line coach for the 49ers.
Before coaching in the NFL, he was mostly an offensive assistant for a few different colleges. He was offensive line coach for Fairfield University in 2002, however, the football program was disbanded after that year. He also had a brief stint at Stanford in 04 coaching their Tackles and Tight Ends.
He did coach for 4 years in High School before coming to coach college.
Since he is 32, if he coached in the NFL for 6 years, coached in High School for 4 years, and coached in College for 3 years, it looks like he started coaching when he was 19, so I am guessing he never played college ball.
