I would be giving up Marshawn Lynch and Mario Manningham and getting Clinton portis and Julius Jones?


Right now my RB1 is Ronnie Brown, RB2 Steve Slaton so Lynch is my flex.. I wouldn't mind getting portis.. but he's been dinged up lately.


plus lynch (despite not getting huge #s) had 19 carries last week and also saw the ball through the passing game.

Jones will never see the field and Manningham was a one time use WR for me. Fitz and hines ward are my starters. Mason/manningham are on the bench So I really dont consider manningham/jones part of the deal for me.

I think this is a classic, trading just to trade.

I might give Portis the slight edge over Lynch, but Lynch is probably going to start getting more carries over time. Fred Jackson just isn't doing much even though BUF's splitting carries. It's not a wash between Portis and Lynch, but it's damn close.

And then you're giving up Manningham for a hapless Jones.

Trade makes no sense to me.

It's ALMOST a push when it comes to Portis and Lynch.

And it's no contest between Manningham and Jones. Although You're not starting Manningham, he's your 3rd best WR. If Fitzgerald or Ward go down, you need depth. And Manningham is an excellent WR to have on your bench.

The guy cancelled the trade anyhow.. and then offered me jones for manningham straight up. no thanks to that one!
