Full Version: Another LT trade possibility

EDIT: Re-read the title and it makes this seem like a rumor - it's not. Just thinking out loud.

So we know about Joe Thomas, but here is another idea for an LT trade: what would it take to get Michael Roos from the Titans? He's big, young, never missed a game in 5 seasons. Not a top three LT like Thomas but he's very good. TN runs a 4-3 so maybe they'd have more interest in a guy like Hawk, and they also need WR so Jones would make sense.

It's also an option for a straight up trade of Kampman, or even Kampman plus a pick.

From TN's perspective, they're 0-6 and having a disaster of a season. They look to be drafting quite early anyway so they can pick up a top LT prospect.

Anyway, just a thought.

I assume you mean for the Titans? Do you know the hit they would take? Because I don't think the actual numbers are bad for GB to absorb, 6 years, 43 million. He's a top flight tackle, he should be one of the highest paid guys on your team.

How does the contract break down? How much was signing bonus? What are his actual numbers for payment? Are there incentive clauses that elevate the contract?

Where's Andrew Brandt when you need him?
