Anyone hear Aaron on the Jim Rome show Monday? I thought he gave a great interview, very intelligent, articulate, and professional. Talked about his quest for the "perfect game", and how he's constantly looking for personal improvement. Took ownership of his mistakes, and refused to point fingers at any of his teammates.

None of this is news, but as I'm listening to that interview, I was just feeling really, really happy that he's the Green Bay quarterback! Definitely the type of guy you want to build a franchise around. Sounds real mature, he's still only 25?! Hopefully he stays healthy. His toughness has been on display so far this season.

Cheers to Aaron!!

Yeah, I heard the interview. He said all the things I expected him to say and things he's been saying all along. Doesn't throw anyone under the bus, although he certainly could. Takes a lot of the responsiblity on himself, more than is deserved. Always thinks he can get better, always trying to get better.

Jim Rome absolutely loves the guy. It's almost Madden/Favre type manlove. Rome loves the Packers, too I think ever since he did that tourstop here in the Green Bay back in '96. He'll say he's impartial, but you can tell.

I was impressed with him since watching how he handled the situation when he was drafted. Had no doubt he'd be good, and that we were set at QB for the longterm. Now, I have no doubt that he's going to be great, and end up at least as one of the league's best, if not the best.
