Congratulations to Donald Driver, the new all-time leader in receptions. One of my all time favorite Packers.

Ill second that!!!!

We'll never see another like him. Way to go Donald!

The only thing that would have made his day better was to get into the endzone. But I'm sure he'd rather take the W!

Great accomplishment for a fine person - thanks Donald

Side Note: vitually no discussion on Driver's record but tons of posts on what's terrible about the Packers....kind of sad people can't/don't enjoy the positives....

What a ridiculous catch one-handed catch down the sideline. I was at the game and he got huge ovations when entering and leaving the field. Congrats Donald Driver!

Nobody deserves it more then him. Class act.

The Packers have been very lucky to have had this guy with the team as long as they have. It's rare to see a player have his kind of success with only one team and to have the longevity that he's had. He's a class act and still a great player. I hope he continues to play for several seasons and finish his career having only played for Green Bay.

Congratulations Mr. Driver. A seventh round pick, in effect an afterthought. I truly believe he is the WR equalivent of Tom Brady at QB. Brady, chosen in the 6th round (I believe). Both classic overachievers, and extremely hard workers.

You know, I remember him making some really nice plays in 2000 that caught my eye. I thought, heck, this guy is more explosive than Freeman or Schroeder (well duh!), lets give him a shot.

What a great career he has made for himself. Awesome stuff.

That WAS a ridiculous catch! Man alive, he's something else. Glad such a class act got to achieve the record. Way to go, Donald. You make us proud to be Packer fans! smile.gif

I am very happy for him. So were the guys doing the pregame show on the FAN 107.5. They made the comment multiple times that they were happy that Sharpe would no longer hold that honor. I know he is a bit arrogant, but apparently Sharpe didn't do much to endear himself to the local media.

Gotta be happy for DD though. He has been a great team player in his time here.

What tough little ____ this guy has been! I can't believe the shots he takes every week and keeps on ticking. You're a warrior Double D....Congrats!!!!!!!!

The best thing is that he's one of the oldest players on the team and he's still making ridiculous circus catches week in and week out. He's a true professional on and off the field, and I hope that our young players are watching closely and taking notes on how to conduct themselves as professional football players. Great player. Great teammate. And all around great guy. The Packers are lucky to have gotten him and even luckier to have kept him this long. Kudos to DD. Hope to see him push those record numbers up even higher over the next few seasons.

Congrats to DD. The only thing better than grabbing a one hander (which was a masterpiece) is the guts he has going for one over the middle knowing he is going to get whacked.

Great point with your first sentence. I love that we're not posting stuff like, "What a great player Donald Driver was for the Green Bay Packers". We're saying, "What a great player Donald Driver is for the Green Bay Packers".

He's still a top flight receiver and still does not look to be slowing down.
Rob
The best thing about Driver is that his playstyle is 100% inectious. Every time you see Jennings or Jones or Nelson stretching for an extra half yard what youre really seeing is them just imitating Driver.

If this guy doesnt get a coaching job after he's done, I dont know what player should
