Im in a 10 team PPR league. 2 rb and 2 wr and a flex

I have mjd, cadillac, knowshon, fred jackson, and mccoy at rb and wayne, steve smith (NYG), wes welker, dwayne bowe, and mike sims-walker.

I have been offered Andre Johnson and Ricky Williams for Steve Smith and Wes Welker do I pull the trigger?

Thanks in Advance

I would tend to say yes on this one.

You lose Steve Smith and Wes Welker. I'm not liking Steve Smith to much right now. That CAR offense just, doesn't give me to much confidence right now. And it's obviously effecting Smith's play. So getting this kind of value for him in return, is a win for you honestly.

Welker is much more valuable in a PPR, but I like this trade.

Andre Johnson has the nod over Wes Welker in terms of value. Johnson is like a super Welker. Pulls in just as many receptions but gives you those huge plays and lots of TD's. So you won't be missing Welker.

And I would have to say Ricky Williams and Steve Smith are pretty much even in value. So I slightly favor you in this league. And like I mentioned, getting anything close to Smith's preseason value should be considered a win.

With this trade you still have your 2 starting RB's in MJD and Moreno. Your #1 WR is upgraded to Andre Johnson and Wayne remains in your lineup. And then you've got a slew of options each week for your flex position. Williams, Bowe, or Sims-Walker. And you also now have a viable backup option at RB if MJD or NM ever go down.

Since this year's a little harder to predict match ups and since you're in a PPR league, you should stick with Sims-Walker almost every week for your flex guy, but you still have a good bench. I like this trade.

That's a tough call in a PPR league especially given the early production of Smith (NYG). I'd pull the trigger though.

I'm not completely sold on Steve Smith's (NYG) hot start as I think teams start scheming to take him away so I'd lean towards Andre Johnson. He's unquestionably one of the top 3 WR's in the entire league and paired with Wayne makes a pretty formidable (and consistent) duo. Sims-Walker and/or Bowe as the flex will give pretty consistent numbers and make up for the loss of Welker, as well.

I could take or leave Williams - I'd start MJD and Moreno every week personally. I don't know what else the offering team has so perhaps see if you could add Caddy (or Moreno) to the receivers and see if you could get an upgrade over Williams. Williams or not - with the limited number of starters you can field I'd rather have Johnson + Bowe/Sims-Walker than Smith + Welker.

I didn't notice it's Smith from New York. That would make me more inclined to take the trade then now.

Great explanations Vots and ThatGuy. Ill see if I could get one of his better rb by adding caddy to the trade. If not then Ill stick with the original trade. I appreciate the help. Thanks and hopefully Aaron Rodgers has a huge game against the Lions as he is my starting QB. GO PACK!!!!!

YES!!! Do it!

Williams will see the ball more than any of the other RB's on your roster.. and AJ is perhaps the #1 overall WR..

Having Bowe and Knowshan wont' hurt your flex spot..
