Wow! I'm only about 10 minutes into the podcast but it sound ten times better! I didn't even listen to all of the last podcast because I couldn't take the sound quality. Glad to have you guys off IR and back to 100%!

No more Skype? Can I ask what you switched to that improved the quality so much?

hey guys,
great show and excellent audio quality!

i think you guys did an outstanding job of breaking down the problems the packers had last sunday. we were totally outplayed and outcoached in all areas of the game. my biggest worry is that we stick to our current game plan offensively and a-rod gets hurt in a few weeks. i think dave was right on when he mentioned that we should be developing a short, quick passing game since our o-line is horrible. that way we would get our offense into a rhythm early and it will open up the running game as well. we have great receivers that are capable of picking up a lot of yardage after the catch- let's take advantage of that fact!

also remember- the steelers had a pretty bad o-line last year and still won the superbowl.

keep up the great work. i look foward to listening to your podcast each week. GO PACK!!!

Hey Chris and Dave,

Thank you so much for working on the audio and getting it sounding great! It's really appreciated from fans just like me in Perth, Western Australia and other faraway places where we barely get any media covering the NFL or specifically the Pack. I really enjoy the podcast every week. Keep up the great work and GO THE PACK!!

Cheers,

Brett

Hey Folks,

I'm falling behind! I'm gonna blame it on my kids and the germ factory, err, day care.

Before I listen to the next podcast, wanted to get in my comments that this one brought to my mind. A couple thoughts, in no particular order. Would love to discuss or see if others agree / disagree...

- I sorta put the failure of the line partially at Thompsons fault and at McCarthy. If you recall, it was McCarthy that really wanted to run the zone scheme. And that required little, nibble linemen. Now, McCarthy is like, hmm, maybe not. So we are stuck with linemen that were sized to the zone scheme, and are gonna have to waste a year or 2 bulking up by whatever means necessary. This I blame on Thompson. With a radical change like this, you need to dip into free agency, "the guys you have" aren't suited to it. Maybe on defense, the 3-4 isn't such a bad fit, but the linemen we have are a bad fit for anything other than zone, not to mention they weren't good at that either...

- Again with the line. Isn't this pretty much the same guys as last year, minus Tausch? I felt like last year they atleast could pass block. Is Tausch really that important? am I forgetting someone? or is it just going to take time to jell?

- Along the lines of pass protection... what happened to our slant offense? Where did it go? I feel like, not only was it super effective cause we have great YAC guys, but, also it aides the O-line!

- How were TT's lines in SEA before he came here? I remember them having a good line, but were they his guys? I'm curious if he has any history for us to draw from... to give us hope.
