Researchers at the Wall Street Journal were hard at work and in today's paper reported that while AZ and MN have an impressive 9 players...the Packers have 10 players with........LONG HAIR! (Detroit - really - is in last place - of course - ...with only 1 player).
Without peeking at any photos, can you name the 10 'tressed for success' Packers???

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe our guys are all like the opposite of Samson - they need to have their hair shorn to get their strength back.
If they all turn into skinheads, maybe they go 14-0 for the rest of the season. Sorry, make that 17-0.

104 of the 164 NFL players with 'long hair' play defense - no surprise as offensive players don't want to get dragged down by their hair in a tackle. DBs lead with 49 players; QBs the least (SD 3rd stringer Charlie Whitehurst the only one - tho Drew Brees is getting there). In 2003 Edgerrin James was tackled by his dreadlocks during a game; the next week he showed up with a haircut.
FYI - getting dragged down by your hair while carrying the ball is NOT a penalty
