I mentioned this in a thread, but the more I think of Ocho's leap I get more irritated. Not that he did it, as predicted, but that not one Packer defender, or for that matter any one on the sidelines, took enough offense to say" NOT IN OUR HOUSE". Tackle him as he was heading to the stands. Slap him. Fight him, anything. Who is our D leader? Our tough guy? Remember when TO danced on the Dallas star at midfield? Teauge came running from 40 yards and creamed him. The leap was an indication to me of the pride level of this squad. The Pack responded to the ultimate slap in the face with indifference. And that has me with an empty feeling in my gut as a 40 year Pack fan.

The other day someone told my son that "These aren't your father's Packers", I'm now starting to believe it. Maybe the Leap is no longer important. Maybe that train has left the station too.

Twitting and dancing are in though.

As much as I would have like to see that, how many people on here would instead be complaining about what a stupid move it was? Guaranteed 15 yard personal foul penalty plus a possible suspension? Maybe the Packer team figured the fans would care enough to stop him from jumping in? Or, hell, why not blame the Packer fans that sold their tickets to Bengals fans to even allow Ochocino the opportunity?

Donald Driver spoke to 85's doing the Lambeau Leap in the week leading up to the game...strongly hinting that the fans "should not allow it". Rather than the Packer players do something stupid, the fans could and should "take care of business". While I did get a chuckle out of the one fan that gave Ocho the 'finger', I would have preferred seeing Ocho pushed back out of stands. Granted, it was a very weak 'leap' and strategically into 3 Bengal fans, but other Packer fans should have quickly taken action

As said, the fans should have done something, not a Packer player. That would have been stupid IMO.

Well at least one guy did give him the finger.
Hopefully the other team jumping in the stands isn't a trend.

Lambeau hasnt been the same since Moss came here in 98 and torched us. It broke the 25 game winning streak and the stadium has not let us forget what he did.
And yes Diesel. SOMEONE should of done SOMETHING about it.

I wish someone woulda kicked Chad's ass. Honestly. Coming in to Lambeau and doing that. WTF?!

Maybe they should have kept his azz out of the endzone then we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Right. If you don't want him doing the Lambeau leap, don't let him in the endzone.
Players can't do anything because it was a close game and you can't afford the penalty and ejection. Fans aren't going to want to lose their season tickets by doing something criminal.

Short of bashing him in the head with a brick I thought that Packer fan did the best thing possible. Big fat middle finger for all the world to see. It'll never be played on TV again because no one wants to get in trouble with the FCC.

They did show the replay complete with middle finger (not even blurred out) on ESPN's Mike and Mike the next morning. I didn't watch any of the other shows, but at least that one show didn't let it stop them.

Apparently, Chad went to great lengths to make sure his "leap" succeed...

I don't think his weak-ass leap deserves any consideration. Didn't even get into the stands -- please.

Thanks for the input all. Probably a good thing I'm not a Packer player.

Because I would have given him a forearm shiver, been suspended by the league, and in the long term would have ended up hurting my team. And wouldn't have regretted it, nor would the fans or my teammates

Well, according to a poll on JS Online, with 4K and something respondents, most Packer fans were not offended.

That was the worst Lambeau Leap I've ever seen, Ocho should be embarrassed. I don't even consider that a Leap, it was sad.
