Wow. I still remember when many thought that he was a 1st round talent. . . and then when he started slipping he was considered by many to be a 2nd round guy at worst.
Then when the Vikings drafted him he was a steal.
I remember thinking that they could have ended up with a really good player if he'd get his act together. He never really seemed to do much for the Vikes and he wasn't worth squat on special teams.
It's too bad, really, that he had to go from the Vikings to the Lions. At least he'll have a shot at getting onto the field. Maybe Schwartz and company can salvage his career and he'll end up being a decent backup player. Oh well.
I'm just glad that he didn't get picked by us to bust and that he didn't turn into a stud for the Vikings.
