Standard 10-team league with 3 WRs, no flex. I'm facing the in-laws, so I need to put up a respectable showing. I had the second pick in the draft and think I did decently. But I'm concerned about the WR corps I've got.
QB - Tom Brady, Matt Ryan
WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh, Anthony Gonzalez, Derrick Mason, Donnie Avery, Earl Bennett
RB - Michael Turner, Steve Slaton, Felix Jones, Beanie Wells, Ray Rice
TE - Jason Witten
K - John Kasay
Def - San Diego
Thoughts? My WRs won't scare anyone. But everyone else should do very well.
More insight in to my decisions:
My first three picks went Turner, Slaton, Brady. Then I had to wait while I watched all of the decent wide receivers drift off the board. By the time my 4th round pick came, I had a choice between Witten or Antonio Bryant/TJ Houshmandzadeh. I chose Witten, then with the next pick took Housh over Bryant. After that it was trying to leverage the best available player by average draft position and specific players that I wanted on my team, such as Mason (despite retiring, is still the #1 WR with an ascending QB), Jones (reported as getting more goalline touches than Barber), Wells (some rookie running back always does well), and Rice (the new Westbrook, a steal in the 14th round).

Pretty solid draft...but a bit on the weak side at WR. Which could be a problem, since your league starts 3. I like that you have lots of sleeper potential at RB.
All in all, I think your draft is built on potential. There's quite a few guys there that could have break out years. If they don't, though, you could be in a bit of trouble.

I agree with you. I've been thinking about putting Slaton on the trading block, looking for a new WR.

I like your WRs - Gonzales and Mason will have good years and Bennett is a nice sleeper
Brady in the 3rd round was a nice pick

Looks solid to me.

Very nice. Good depth at QB and RB. Stud TE. WR is a bit shaky, but you can't be strong everywhere if your league is competitive.

Thanks guys. Hopefully a few weeks in to the season it still looks solid.

Your WR's aren't that bad, I don't think. It's easy to overlook Donnie Avery and Earl Bennett, but I think both will be solid rotational guys. There are enough players to fit the bill at WR...you'll just have lots of tough choices each week about who you will start.
