This is getting ridiculous (to me at least).
Another player trying to kick up enouth dust to force a trade.

Cutler was "unhappy" cause the Broncos considered trading him.....
Marshall's supposedly "unhappy" cause the Broncos didnt hold a party when he was aquitted of battery charges....
And of course we all know of our boy BF....both "sadly & unhappily" retiring his way to his team of choice.....

Whats the deal here?

All NFL Players are required to BE MADE HAPPY per
UNION Rule 3003.A1
para. 37

Which States; Sorry, just don't have the time (here at work) to make some funny comments

How blessed are the Packers to have one of the best, if not THE best group of WRs in the game without all the drama WRs tend to bring?

It takes some nerve to complain about money when his actions off the field make him such a risk to start out with. On the other hand, if he were released or traded some team would give him what he wants, so maybe you can't blame him. Guys like T.O. always seem to find their way to the money they want eventually. Doesn't sounds like Denver is going to cave this time, though.

Boy, remember when like two years ago everyone said this guy physically, is like the next T.O.? A bit more prophetic than we all thought!

Denver might be better off trading Marshall if they can get some quality picks for him. It's ugly in the short term, but they can turn things around in a relatively short period of time.
Step 1. Deal Marshall for a 1st or 2nd rounder (the highest they can get)
Step 2: Get rear end kicked this season and finish with a top pick (5-11 sounds about right)
Step 3: Draft Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy with their first pick.
TaDa! Young QB for McDaniel to groom, an extra high pick to help out on defense. And as an added bonus they can concentrate on drafting guys with heads on their shoulders.

Brilliant. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.
I hate the Broncos.

You ain't kiddin'.

I always thought very highly of Bronco fans, even when they beat us in the Super Bowl. Classy, so to speak, compared to other franchises around the NFL. I almost feel bad for them for what they have had to endure over the last 6 months.

Let's see:
-Losing Coach Shannahan
-Hiring unproven, but talented Josh McDaniels
-Losing your star QB
-(Maybe) Losing faith in Pat Bolen's direction
-Listening to your whiny, diva WR try to talk his way off the team. AGAIN.

Oh, I forgot one:

-Watching Kyle Orton play QB. (That, in itself, I wouldn't let children watch. That beard. That creepy freakin' beard...)

Winning cures all ills, and the Broncos haven't been winning enough recently. Something sure stinks in Den(ver)mark, to quote The Bard. Wonder what is going on in the front office?

Two words: Javon Walker. Every agent in the game noticed when the Packers kicked him and his little prima donna act to the curb.

So I haven't seen in because my internet connection is on the fritz, but apparently there's a video out there from Broncos training camp from I believe yesterday that showed him intentionally dropping balls, punting the balls back to the ball boys, and just generally being a total jackass.

What I don't get is, does he think THIS kind of behavior is going to somehow get him paid somewhere else? Is it possible for someone to be that stupid?

Everyone has seen the destruction that T.O. has caused. What a guy like Keyshawn Johnson has done to clubs.

And Marshall somehow thinks that's the way to go about it?

I mean, why not look at a WR like Driver, or Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, etc. for a WR to emulate? Those guys are all stand up dudes and they get paid like crazy.

But Owens is still talented enough to get a job. Marshall is too. He can be a selfish jerk and he's still going to get paid, so (from his perspective) why not be himself?

Why do recievers have the biggest mouths in the leauge? Next to Phillip Rivers. And hold out the most?

Why do recievers have the biggest mouths in the leauge?

Its a coaching decision......
Those with the largest mouths are coached up to be wide outs because they have the best chance to catch the ball with their mouths if necessary. mellow.gif

I feel for McDaniels, man. He came into a team with a franchise quarterback, a bona fide star receiver, and another star receiver in the making. Cutler whined his way out of town, and now Marshall may be on the way, too.

Running off your team's two best players isn't the way you want to start your first head coaching gig. Ouch.

PFT says Broncos just suspended him for conduct detrimental to the team. Baby T.O. indeed...
Heatseeker
Good for McDaniels.

If I were him, I'd suspend him the maximum 4 games and then just bench his ass every single game after that and tell him to sit at the very end of the bench and not talk to any of the other players.
