Im in a keeper league and we keep one person. I am keeping Fitz.
This is a PPR league 1 point for catch. Bonuses for 100 yards 150 yards, 200 yards.
QB TD are worth 6 points.

I pick 11th and then 14th.

So it will go:

FITZ (WR), ?, ?, ?, ? ...etc...

I am thinking of Fitz, WR, RB

What do you guys think?

Well I wouldn't take another WR in round 1 if you're keeping Fitzgerald. Waiting until the 3rd round to take your first RB is not advised.

Personally, I wouldn't keep Fitzgerald because he's on the cover of Madden and no one has ever escaped the curse. But that's just me.

If you are in fact going to keep Fitzgerald, then RB should definitely be next. After that, you can have a little bit of pre planning on what position to take next, but you just need to play it be ear after round 1.

QB TDs are worth 6? !!

Wait QBs will be kept / available? If QBs get bonus for yardage this seems to be a QB friendly FFL. Most I've ever seen for a QB TD was 4.

CBS Sports default scoring is set at 6 points for a QB touchdown.

I'd keep Fitz between those 2. Hard to say where to go from there without knowing who's going to be kept and what is available to you at #11. I wouldn't lock into any one position. Take the best player available.

I'd take Gore because of the Madden curse! laugh.gif

Obviously Fitzgerald has the talent to put up the best season among receivers. But man, I'm a big believer in the curse since no one's escaped it. Of course, he could be like Eddie George and get screwed in the playoffs and have his regular season untouched.

If you believe in the Madden curse as much as me, take Gore (although Gore isn't a lock either considering Glen Coffee is lurking behind him).

This is a tough one for me since it involves someone on a Madden cover... unsure.gif

I don't pay to play, so I'm a "hair trigger" GM... love those trades/FA acquisitions.

Apparently you're in a 12 team league, so the 11th & 14th picks are really the 23rd and 26th best guys. I wouldn't take another WR w/ #11, but you're stuck taking BPA, as you're not going to get a top 6 or top 7 guy at any position.

Depending on how it unfolds, I'd probably try for the best QB available w/ 11, and you'll get a quality mid-level RB w/ #14 (Jackson, Slaton, Barber, Portis, Jacobs).

IF the QB pickin's are slim, then 11 & 14 to load-up your RB stable, and settle for a QB w/ pick 35 (if my math is correct): Schaub, Warner, Ryan, Palmer, Cutler?

Good luck.

I would take a solid running back with my first pick then take a top tier reciever, of which would include a choice of Moss, Fitzgerald or Reggie Wayne. I wouldn't forget about Jennings, who I think will score the most td's in the nfl this year. Then you would grab your qb probably.

with fitz.. I'd probably take RB at #11 and a stud QB at #14(brees, brady, rodgers, Manning) If those guys are gone I'd probably take another RB at 14 (unless a stud WR is still sitting there)
