Why's it setup where you click to go to the forums twice?

Go to the forums from where Vots? Where exactly do you mean?
Click Twice?
Not sure what you mean....I'm one clicking all over the place.
Did you check your mouse settings?

On the home page under the interactive tab you click forums.
Then it takes you to another page where you have to click a picture that says enter forums. Essentially clicking it twice.
It's been like that since the relaunch (just decided to post about it now), it's not a nuisance but it does seem a little pointless to me.

Haven't seen or heard of that one Vots.
Does it ask you to login then?
If so it might be something with your cookies, cache....something.
Anyone else seeing this?

All the time. I click the menu on the main page, get another page with a graphic that sometimes loads, click that and I'm finally in. I'm never asked to log in as I set it so it remembers me.

Yeah, click on the home page, and then a box comes up to click to enter. No problem. Takes an extra second or two.

To skip that step, click the "Forum" button all the way at the very top of the home page. When I go that way I go straight to the forums without the interruption of that "enter" page.
Don't go through the "Interactive" button.

Sorry Vots....now I see what you are talking about.
Clicking in the Drop Down you do get what you are referring to...it's like an introduction.
Like Ryan mentioned there is a couple other way of accessing our Forums;
1. Forums link in top right header menu next to Home
2. From the 'In the Forums' module, center column of home page, are the 5 latest posts. Clicking on one of those will take you directly to that post.
Sorry for the confusion and hope this answers your question.

Alright, no problem. It wasn't a big deal, like I said, seemed kind've pointless to me so that's why I asked.
Basically it was just a curiosity question I guess.
