Hey guys,

My draft is Sunday (16th) and I need help!

Keeper league 1 point per 3 receptions. I kept AP, Westy, Jennings and Peyton.

Need to take a WR with my first round pick (3rd overall) and the options available will be:

Braylon Edwards
DeSean Jackson
Eddie Royal

I am really stuck with who to pick - something about Braylon makes me nervous while I like the upside of DeSean and Eddie. But common sense says to take Braylon hoping he gets close to the 16 TD's in 07.

Who would you pick?

There is nothing else you can pick? I would not pick any of them with a first rounder.

DeSean Jackson for sure. I think Braylon will struggle again this year (only 55 catches last year) and Eddie (although having a very good year last year) will have Orton throwing to him.

He said it's a four player keeper league, normal.

Braylon Edwards has the most talent by far in this group, but I don't know why he had the severe case of butter fingers last year. And it's continuing so far into this year. I would like to say he'll return to his 2007 form because he's a favorite player of mine, but he's still having problems this year.

History tells us it doesn't matter who's driving the ship, good receivers will continue to produce. Because even though Orton had a horrible game, Royal still made some good catches. With that said, Royal reminds me of Anquan Boldin. Actually, he reminds me of Boldin A LOT. Royal doesn't beat you with the big catch, instead he runs short yet precision routes, just like Boldin. He'll rack up the receptions, should definitely crack 1,000 yards this season and should see 6-9 TD's this year.

DeSean Jackson really looks like a candidate for 1100 yards and about 75 receptions. He's clearly taken over the Eagles #1 spot, but 75 receptions could be his maximum. Andy Reid's pure, west-coast offense spreads the ball around a lot.

With that said, Royal looks to be the best bet. Royal will be in range with the other two in receiving yards, TD's and will surely blow them away in receptions.

A Quick Prediction:

Edwards - 1,055 / 6 TD / 70 Rec
Royal - 1,050 / 7 TD / 88 Rec
Jackson - 1,100 / 5 TD / 70 Rec

Edwards drops passes too much. Pass. Flip a coin between the other two.

If this wasn't a PPR league, then I'd say, "sure, flip a coin". But it is a PPR league and Royal is going to rack up the catches and pull far away from the other two in total points.

Thanks guys - you can see my delimma. They all have pros and cons.

After watching how pitiful the Brownies were last night I think I am off Braylon.

I'll let you know who I decide after our draft over

Took DeSean. Also got Lance Moore, Santana Moss and Patrick Crayton to fight it out for my WR positions.

Jennings WR1
DeSean WR2
Moore/Moss/Crayton WR3

Good luck with your fantasy teams this season!

I myself would've gone with Royal since he'll probably put up the same season as Jackson but with way more receptions.

But hope your pick proves to be the best one!
