The first year of the league is normal. The catch is though, at the end of the season, you get to keep all of your players. Once you draft players in the first draft, they're yours forever unless you cut them, trade them, or they retire.
Every draft after the first one is a rookie only draft, so basically this is almost like how the NFL runs (accept we keep contracts of this one).
The champion of the league gets $150 plus there's 4 prizes that are handed out at the end of the year. The team with the least amount of points in a season gets a custom "loser's trophy". The team that scores the most points during the scoring period Thanksgiving falls on gets a custom "Thanksgiving football trophy". The team that scores the most points in a season gets a custom trophy. And the team that wins the league gets a custom trophy.
And the league entry fee is only $30 (CBS sports charges $40 for a gold team and you only get a $150 prize, so you get more value joining my league).

Owners set their own lineups (deadline is 5 minutes before game time for each player)
Add/Drop deadline is 5 minutes before the first game on SUNDAY
Waivers run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
A player is on waivers for 1 day
Unlimited waiver claims per week
Waiver order resets every week based on the reverse order of the standings
Owners can do trades any time they want
Trade deadline is November 17th, 2009
Owners can make trades in the offseason
Owners can trade draft picks

TD = 6 pts
2P Conv. = 2 pts
25 PaYds = 1 pt
3 bonus points at 300 passing yards
RUSHING:
TD = 6 pts
2p Conv. = 2 pts
10 RuYds = 1 pt
3 bonus points at 110 rushing yards
RECEIVING:
-TD = 6 pts
-2p Conv. = 2 pts
10 ReYds = 1 pt
3 bonus points at 6 receptions
ALL offensive players receive -2 points for a fumble lost, including special team plays
KICKING:
-Extra Points = 1 pt
-Field Goals = 3 pts
-Missed Extra Point = -1 pt
-Missed Field Goal = -1pt
2 bonus points for a field goal made from 50+ yards
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS:
-Defensive/Special Team Fumble Recovered = 2 pts
-Interception = 2 pts
0-6 PA = 8 pts
7-13 PA = 6 pts
14-20 PA = 4 pts
21-27 PA = 2 pts
28+ PA = 0 pts

Live, Online Draft (all in one day)
Draft is on September 6th (Sunday), 2009 at 12:00PM ET

There is a draft robot if for some reason you can’t make it to the draft
Time limit is 75 seconds per pick
Draft Order is first come, first served. This is a brand new league and only 4 players are in it so far, plenty of spots to choose from still.
