I just wish Favre would grow a pair of balls and admit that he is coming back and signing with the Vikings. This still oh he is still retired BS is growing old and just showing how inmature he and Cook are. When he signs the Packers should remove everything ever contected to Favre still up.

I agree. To me he will have lost all he has done.

i agree with both the previous posts. he doesnt deserve the respect of the packer fans anymore and i for one am sick of his crap, and have been since last year when he pulled his retirement/return stunt

The guy went through that many years in the rugged NFL without missing a single game due to injury....I think there is no need for the guy to "grow a pair of balls".

Having said that, I also question his antics, but at the end of the day it's his life and he has to live with the consequences, whatever they may be.

I dont understand all the secrecy surrounding this. If the guy wants to play, have the surgery and play. Is he afraid the Vikings might not see it as successful surgery and might not want him, and he can say he wasnt interested anyway?

Glad the Packers aren't dealing with this 12 year old any longer.

Agreed. I have been numbed by all the reports of this, that, and the other. I am finding it hard to care also.

But sure gives another spin on the Packers/Vikings matchups doesn't it?

This has become a BIG JOKE!!!!

I don't think anyone cares about Favre anymore. And it's a shame he's done it all to himself.

Yeah, I would guess he wants to play, but isn't sure he can. If he puts it all out there and isn't able to play or doesn't pass a physical given by the Vikings, he'd have further tarnished his legacy for nothing. So he wants that option of claiming it was all a media creation if things don't work out.

Plus all the speculation keeps him in the news.

I don't even think Brett playing for Minn would really help them much. If it's gotten to the point where his throwing shoulder is this iffy, what difference does it make if it's Favre or Sage Rosenfels back there handing off to Peterson and tossing 7 yard passes? Woodson and Collins will probably get a couple more int's returned for TD off of Brett to pad their stats, that's about all.....Brett wouldn't beat the Packers this season, their Def. and running game could....
