Does anyone know when the FF magazines start coming out?
Vots
Fantasy magazines to me(especially ones that are published around this point in the year), are worthless. Players are still moving around; teams are trying different schemes; new regimes are taking over; OTA's just started; and a lot of the starting spots are still open.

Everything that's offered by fantasy magazines is offered on the internet, usually for free and updated on the fly. Anybody that asks me which magazines they should buy, I say none. Go online. Find a site(s) that you like and use that for fantasy advice.

The early mags should be coming out any day now. The "good" ones (fantasy footall proforecast and fantasy football index) I believe usually come out early to mid July.

By "good" I mean they have a lot of content compared to their competitors. More bang for the buck. None of them are very useful, but they're fun to read. smile.gif

I've gotten the NFL.com one in the past. It was very attractive with the full color pictures and everything, but it didn't seem to have a lot of content.

My favorites are Fantasy Football Pro Forecast and Fantasy Football Index. Both have been around a long time. Both of them have a lot of articles and detailed mock drafts. Index also does a mock auction which is fun to read. Pro forecast has a feature where they have 10 or 15 popular websites submit their rankings and then they consolidate it into consensus ratings. They do a little Q&A with each of them about their picks. Both of them have a ton of stuff other than just their own rankings, so you get a lot of opinions from a lot of different people.

I usually get an early mag just to scratch the itch, and then wait for those two to come out.
