“It is the right fit,” Sharper told Adam Schein and Solomon Wilcots of The Sirius Blitz on Sirius NFL Radio. “I’m not a prognosticator. I’m not into making predictions but I will predict that if everything goes well with, I think he has a meeting with Coach Childress, I can see Brett playing for Minnesota this year.

He won’t be able to go back to, I think, to Wisconsin to get inducted into the Packer Hall of Fame because they’re going to be a little bit upset.” Favre definitely won’t be able to go back if he leads the Vikings to a division title, as the non-prognosticating Sharper thinks he will."

What do you think? If Favre goes purple, is he ever welcomed back in Green Bay?

Sharper is already a member of the Saints. He was an UFA this year and the Vikings didn't want anything to do with him.

My answer will be short and unequivocal. WHO CARES?!? I am a Packers fan first, and therfore was a longtime Favre fan. But the team, to me, always comes above the player. Always. So, once Favre was gone, so was my loyalty to him. His sojourn with the Jets is of as little interest to me as his short stint in Atlanta. WHO CARES?!?

Now, for those who might bring up my recent posts where I posted stats for Favre as a Jet, I again say, WHO CARES?!? That was another post. If Favre goes to Minny, WHO CARES?!?

My concern is will Rodgers progress this year? Will the new OL (once it is set) be stable and effective? Will Raji and Matthews be effective as rookies? Will the switch to the 3-4 be smooth, or bumpy? Who is the next star to emerge from TC?

Favre? WHO CARES?!?

I remember once in college, I went to this professor to ask why I wasn't given XYZ. I mean, practically everyone was given XYZ and I was an advanced student. As we're talking, out of the blue he says, "I want you to understand, it wasn't personal". I said, yeah, yeah, that never occurred to me, but anyway... and so on. Shortly after, again utterly unsolicited and without it ever having been suggested, he again says "it wasn't personal". I think it's odd, but I just ignore it and proceed on the thread we were on. Shortly after that, yet again, he insists that it wasn't personal, again out of the blue, again unsolicited, and again in a context in which it had never been suggested.

Suddenly, it dawned on me. Though I couldn't imagine why, I realized that for some reason, this was entirely personal with him.
