I've been listening to the podcast for a long time now and love it. However, what's up with the disparaging remarks about Jamon Meredith, the state of South Carolina and its university? As a resident of the state, alumnus of USC and a fan of Meredith, I didn't appreciate that at all. I guess Sterling Sharpe and Robert Brooks are dumb South Carolinians too? Hopefully you were joking... right?

Yeah, I feared that would gore somebody's ox. Sorry if you took offense (and it seems you did).

Remember--we do the show from Madison (and right on the UW campus, in fact). Chalk it up to the elitist attitudes of the Big Ten (a conference that is tired of getting pole-axed by SEC schools on the football field, so we like to thump our chests about academics).

I was actually on the USC campus last fall for a training program (and stayed at the very nice Inn at USC). I was impressed with the college, its setting and was treated very warmly and with great kindness by everyone I met while there.

No problem. I have thick skin and can take a joke. Figured that was some off the cuff humor. Unfortunately some people think South Carolina still has nothing but log cabins, dirt roads and horse drawn wagons. Ok gotta go, keep up the good work, I'm off to tend to my moonshine still.
