How about the 2010 draft.

Of course its "absurd".

But what the heck.

Its fun at least to see who might be available in the 1st round.:

It is fun, so I have no shame in tooling around with next year's draft already. I didn't like the TE in the top 10 (and to GB for that matter). I also think Cody needs to shed at least 20 lbs. to even be considered a top pick.

I wonder who Green Bay will draft with the 32nd pick? tongue.gif

Thinking of him as a DE? He's pretty small to play DT in a 3-4. Also, their review mentioned a name I thought I'd never hear again... Steve Warren. blink.gif 3rd round pick, 3 years, 1 sack...

Hey the guys at WalterFootball already have a 2010 mock up there. I sure hope we don't pick #13 like they mock it up, but I know they're just kinda working off the 2008 records.

If you use their mock for ratings and assume we pick in the high teens to low twenties I sure think I'd be happy with guys like Ciron Black-OT, Jermaine Gresham-TE and Arthur Jones-DT/DE. I'd love McCoy or Suh to play DE in our 3-4, but I sure hope we don't suck bad enough to be in position for either of them.

There is also a decent RB group, with some speed next year. Guys like Spiller, McKnight and Best would be nice additions for the Pack and give us that change of pace speed guy out there. This of course assumes the juniors come out next year. Plus, Selvie and Hardy will be coming out next year - perfect OLB's for the 3-4.

yeah, I was thinking DE for our 3-4 as his size would be ideal. I honestly don't know a whole lot about him except that people in Lincoln just love him. My fiance's dad is a season ticket holder for the Huskers so I try to follow them a little. But if he's more of a pass rusher then a garbage hauler then he might be better off as a 4-3 guy. obviously we'll have plenty of time to find out laugh.gif

Usually I would consider a TE in the 1st a luxury pick but Gresham will be the best TE in the league in a few years. I would be ecstatic if the Pack could get him, especially outside the top 10.

There are 2 or 3 safeties that blow away the talent of this years class. The Pack could get their Polamala for the 3-4.

This is the first year i really paid attention to the draft top to bottom before it happened. Starting to follow the 2010 draft now just makes the upcoming college football season all the more fun to watch. I'll actually be interested in all teams, not just the Badgers.

I am hoping for a strong CB class to find the heirs for Harris and Woodson.
Adding an elite RB couldn't hurt, and they seem to be available later every year (Beanie at 31 to the Cardinals)

Yep! I'm addicted.
