What if this is the way the draft would have panned out?

3 RD J. Meredith
3 RD TJ Lang
4 RD Brandon Underwood

6 RD Jarius Wynn
6 RD Some Return Specialist that never pans out..
7 RD Brad Jones


In other words if Clay Matthews would have fell to us and the Packers would have proceeded by picking the same players how would you view the draft...I think TT did very well considering we didn't draft in the 2 or 3 rounds.

This scenario probably would have been laughed at if it was put out as a Mock. No way that Matthews or Meredith fall that far in most people's minds before the draft.

I have already been looking at the draft this way, and that's why the trade up for Matthews doesn't bother me at all.

According to several experts or so called experts, Matthews would not have been available with our second round pick. I'm a TT Critic alot of times but this time I think he needs some praise. And if our talent evaluators had Mathews rated high enough to go in the first round, then why take the chance. I'm like all the other passionate fans but coming to these message boards some times give me the same feeling I get when walking the sidelines of my HS games and hearing all the wanna be coaches in the stands that would have done it different. That's why were here on this board and their running the draft. Let's hope TT got it right.
