Childress just used this to describe Percy Harvin's positive attributes.

As if his smile is indicative of what type of football player he is or will become.

I mean, do you want to date him Chilly?

I love Childress.

Love this man.

Im still glad Zigi wouldnt let him leave MN on that plane.

Imagine where we would be now if he was our coach...makes me shudder...

I was laughing at that interview. Chilly just seems so lost.

My friends and I (we all love different teams) laughed at the NFL Network's anaylysts when they said that "Minnesota is a player or two away from a Super Bowl"... don't they always say this in the offseason? The Vikings are a joke.

He is a great fit for Minnysota. That team has so much talent, If they had a decent coaching staff and an above average QB, look out. I hope Chilly and T-Jack are together in Minny for the next 10 years. smile.gif

Exactly. I almost did a cartwheel when he signed with MN because I knew he wouldn't be here.

Its funny because the bar I go to watch the Pack games is a Vikings bar so I get a lot of input from them on their team. They were under the assumption that just because Childress played under Reid they would become the Eagles. They had no idea that Reid was the one calling all the plays.

I'm sorry about that. tongue.gif

Its really not that bad. Its the bar I usually go to have a few beers at and on gameday they jam all the non-tipping, iced tea drinking, whining Vikes fans in the back room so the rest of us dont have to put up with them.

It was during ESPN's second day coverage of the draft. They did a conference call interview with Childress, and when he was asked what he liked about Harvin, his first response was, "Well, he has a great smile."

At the end of the day though, I'm not sure that line tops his very first press conference as head coach of the Vikings, where in listing his credentials and justifying his ability to be a head coach, he was apt to note that he "watched the Rose Bowl last night" (the USC/Texas classic from 2006).

Guess what Chilly? I watched that game too.

I was a little disappointed he didn't call me to be an assistant coach.
