The GM
Here is Gosselin's final mock, he's normally pretty accurate. We'll see how he does.

I hope he is wrong. It's not that I don't like Jenkins, It's just that I'd rather have a lineman.

Very interesting that we would be sitting at #9 with Sanchez and Raji still available. I would have to think the Skins would be ringing our phone and we could still drop back to #13 ahead of New Orleans and still get Jenkins. Daniel Snyder, we promise to give you a bargain deal. wink.gif

FYI, the trade value chart has this as a 200 point differential which is very close to the Redskins #73 pick in the third round(225 points).

I agree about a lineman on either side of the ball over Jenkins. Also that mock has some odd picks. Sanchez still available at 13? Orakapo lasting till 18? No way, imo.

I think there is very little chance Sanchez falls to 9. I think he either goes to the Seahawks or the Bengals or espically the Jaguars trade out of the pick for some team that wants him.

Michael Abromowitz's mock has the Skins and Seattle swapping picks. He has Seattle taking Beanie.
The one thing I find confusing is why everyone says the #8 pick will be traded. If you're a team that knows there is no way Jax takes Sanchez why wouldn't you call GB at #9 rather than having to go a pick higher and have to give up more.

I locked into Jenkins early on and then seemed to talk myself out of it the last few weeks. I still like him, he's a football player, they'll find a spot for him even if its safety. And with the recent Nick Collins thing, coupled with the McGinn comparison to LeRoy Butler... maybe it'll be Malcolm.
