My 2nd-to-last mock had a trade down as Sanchez was still available. But I now think he will be long gone by #9. mad.gif

1. Michael Oher OT

boy, I really, really wanted to call K Moreno's name, but a good OT wins out.

2. Ron Brace NT

boring but necessary

3a. Shonn Greene RB

He makes his first appearance in my mocks in the final attempt. Should solve some our our short-yardage struggles if nothing else.

3b. Cody Brown OLB

another johnny-come-lately to my mocks. Could be gone by here.

4. Kevin Barnes CB

under-the-radar type of prospect

5. Mitch King DE

I would switch this high-passion, overachieving DT to 5-tech.

6a. Clinton McDonald DE

I would also switch this high-passion, overachieving DT to 5-tech.

6b. Bear Pascoe TE

ah, the one constant in all my mocks

7. Greg Orton WR

still gems to be found in the 7th, and Orton is way underappreciated.

I like it.

I'd like to see a punter in the later rounds, but I could definitely live with your draft. I like the emphasis on the lines. Of course that means TT will take all receivers, corners, and qb's... tongue.gif tongue.gif

You're right...it never turns out like I want.

With the latest developments this is what I predict as our first two picks. I like Cody Brown in the third!!
There was a great article in USA Today on Oher.

I was/am an Oher fan but I am having a last minute change of heart. I am wondering if he has the smarts to be a great player at the NFL level? Not sure.

As for Greene, he has trouble catching the ball, maybe he can get coached up there, not sure... I do like him bettter at 3 than at 2 where a lot of mocks have him.

I would be happy with this draft.

--that's definitely the question on him, but he looked good in a Pro-style offense at Ole Miss.

Yeah, he's definitely no Moreno in that regard...and I think there's no way he goes in the 2nd.

I would be happy with this draft.

I would LOVE that draft!
