Wow. Doesn't seem plausible. Curry would be available at 9?

...and Monroe lasts until #8?

Based on this analysis and the Bills/Eagles trade yesterday, I could see Buffalo and KC swapping #3 for #11 and #28. The Bills get either Smith or Monroe and KC still has a good shot at Tyson Jackson at #11.

Here was my first reaction to this draft: "Oh hell no"

That is all biggrin.gif

I had seen this a few days ago and you know that it could very well turn out this way . With all the mock drafts out there and all us armchair GM's thinking we know what the draft will look like the fact remains that the real GM's have a different view and are not affected by all the draft publications as much as we are. In that light and in the realm of war room cloak and dagger antics with smokescreens the draft will turn out different than we expect and most of us will be mad and shocked at the outcome.

I had a buddy in college that decided to be a sports writer. We had a discussion that went something like this.

Buddy: I think I'm going into Sports Journalism

Me: Really? You don't even like sports that much.

Buddy: True, but it's easy

I figured anyone with that mindset wouldn't follow through, but when I'm subjected to something this bad, it makes me wonder.

27. Indianapolis Colts
WR Brian Robiskie, Ohio State
Bill Polian has an excellent track record in the first round because he sees the big picture so well and does not take a chance on big character risks early in the draft. Robiskie grades out as a third-round talent as a possession-type receiver, but in a weak draft where there are few safe bets at the WR position, Polian will feel comfortable rolling the dice early.

Trying to pass off a GM taking a 3rd round talent in the 1st is insulting to the reader, no matter how many cliches you back it up with.

The Pack taking Crabtree is pretty ridiculous too. Would make a fun offense though.

OH Packer revisited
any mock with Curry available at 9 is fodder.

yeah.. If Curry is available at 9.. why would we pass on him?? For Crabtree?? um. no. But heck. Anything is possible.
