I have no problems with the draft, but I do ask why you release Ruvell Martin, and why you re-sign Mark Taushcer?

Do you think that Swain and Jaison Williams would be better than Martin? Personally, I don't but I can understand that thought.

Tauscher hasnt yet been signed, by anyone. When and why would we do this? If Clifton and Tauscher are both back, does Oher sit all season his first year?

Not sure about the Brohm trade. I don't think Seattle would make that trade.

Love the first 4 picks and the last 5. Don't much care for either McRath or Marks. Both would be good value at that point though. Marks especially would be good value. I suspect he's gone before then. Even Walter has him going before #84 (#72). He has Brace going well before #73 as well (#48), so maybe you are looking at an old mock or something.

Anyway, on balance I would definitely be vary happy with this draft if it were to happen.

So Brohm can't beat out Flynn, but he'll land a second. And then a seventh round pick will beat out Flynn. Since Harper and Flynn were seventh rounders, what does that make Brohm's worth?
OH Packer revisited
Please, please stop with the Brohm trades. You have 9 mocks and every one involves an unrealistic trade of Brohm.

As far as the mock you have us getting a bunch of good players. A handful are a round or two off I believe. Marks and Brace in the third would be big time value. Keenan Lewis in the 6th is way late. He's probably a 3rd. If we could get those first 3 picks I'd be stoked. Too bad we obtained the #36 in a fairytale.

Ive seen tons of thread asking "If Brohm was in this draft, where would he rank?... " its about 33% for each 2,3,or 4.
Considering Sanchez, Freeman and White are all considered 1st or 2nd prospects, why wouldnt Brohm be worth that.

This is a very bad year to get a QB in the draft, if a team needs one, they have to trrade into the top 10, or put of developing one for another year. Hence a 2 for Brohm makes some sense.

Not in reality it doesn't. And if you want to use your 33% argument, that's 2/3 of the people who say he's NOT worth a 2nd...

I'd be very happy with those first 4 picks, but yeah, we're not getting a second for Brohm, end of story. I think Brace will go sooner than you have him slated as well, but I guess we'll know this time next week.

Didn't you start half of those threads?

Good draft...Brace in the 3rd would be a steal...I like him better than Raji as a pure NT.

BucEbadger
Not a bad draft.. The Brohm trade I could see as a team like Seattle if they choose to go LT first round and then trade for a franchise like Brohm with a second would be a solid move... Or a team like Carolina with no first round pick may want to use their second round pick on Brohm as hes more NFL ready then any of the top three QBs in this draft...

For those that think Flynn is a better QB ur nutts, Brohm is another A Rodgers in the making and many NFL teams know it thats why Brohm was drafted in case A Rodgers actually did fail. Last year he was trying to hard with all the pressure Packer Fans were putting on him while Flynn was having fun with very little PRESSURE & nothing to lose other then a 53 man roster spot...
