1. Malcolm Jenkins, CB Ohio State
I think this would be a great selection I do not see some of the guys that I have been hoping for will fall here, but I would settle for Jenkins. One of college footballs premire corners will provide the Packers much needed versatility in the secondary and lets face it there is not much to knock about Jenkins game. With the versatility he can slide in as a CB or a S, also another option would be is to slide Woodson over and have Jenkins play corner. He is smart, strong, has long arms, decent speed, experiance, can make the tackle, physical, and has a strong work ethic.
2. Larry English, LB Northern Illinois
English needs to hit the weight room plain and simple, but that is minor he has been highly productive and would be a great fit as an OLB in the Packers 3-4. English plays with a great motor, and can pack a punch on every tackle. He is a great athlete who uses his hands well. The stat that stand out to me is that 32.5 sacks in 50 games that speaks a lot to me which in my opinion could translate to sucess as an LB because of the better vision you get when standing up.
3a. Ziggy Hood, DT Mizzou
He may not be the best, but he is a hard working agressive DT. No doubt can Ziggy get the job done. He dies have a bit of a leverage issue, but Pickett will get more reps so he could work on that with good coaching. Ziggy is a strong and very coachable athlete. One great thing Ziggy has is he has a great motor, and has rarely been seen taking breaks. To me Ziggy is what Packer football is all about.
3b. Xavier Fulton, T Illinois
Fulton's biggest knock is his bulk. I chose to address the tackle spot so late because I think the Packers do have a solid core in place. I think Giacomini can open some eyes, and Colledge might also be moving to the outside with the signing of Preston. Fulton has some potential, good balance, and good foot work. He is more suited to be a RT than protecting the blind side, but I think with some good coaching and addded bulk he could contribute to any NFL team.
