This would be nice, but it ain't gonna happen. The Broncos' management is under way too much pressure to give up this much for three spots in the first round. I could see them giving up a fourth or maybe even a third, but no way a second. And I'd be surprised if they moved up at all, even for Sanchez.

Where's the beef?

Not a bad draft, but there's nobody to help Pickett @ NT. Hope Bledsoe IS the man.

With so many LB's (3) and DL's (4) drafted we'll be seeing a LOT of turnover to the current roster. TT won't cut his new picks, so there's probably no room for Lansanagh, Havner, Bishop, Montgomery, Hunter, Pettway, Malone, and Toribio.

With Harris gone and Jenkins "in" I would think Williams moves up to starter status, and Lee/Jenkins battle for Nickel back.

Unless Shonn Greene flops it spells the end of the DeShawn Wynne project, and probably Lumpy, as well. An injury to B-Jax or Grant in TC will change that entirely, however. This puts ALL of our RB's in camp over 220 lbs... power running? Need the horses up front, not just running the ball.

I could live with this, Joe, just would have preferred one of the DL's to be over 325 lbs.

Interesting Mock and one i like and can live with Arrigo. So our last pick is Dr. Doolittle Huh? j/k
Anyways have no info on him; can to share please? Thanks

Here's something else...watched Tenn RB Foster over the last 2 years and he's rated on most boards from RD 7 to an UFA. Probally the 40 time thing again; however if taking a back late or UFA; why not give him a shot?

Last: used this post to reply on; because don't know how to use those quote things to shorten a post.....

Also not putting down anything; but just a thought...Instead of 2 DE's back to back; why not instead use one of those picks on a DT like Hill or Taylor if one is there? Or are you thinking of us getting a cut vet as a stop-gap after the draft?

Could you provide some more info on Jason Williams (OLB, W. Illinois)? He seems like a real interesting prospect/selection. I think I could begin to like this guy as a pick. Your thoughts or anyone else for that matter on Williams.

I absolutely love the Jasper Brinkley pick in round 5. I had the Pack taking A.Q. Shipley in round 5 of a mock draft I'm working on. But after the signing of Duke Preston, I'm starting to lean towards Brinkley. I've had the pleasure of watching Brinkley play on a couple of occasion. The thing I like the most about him is he is easy to find, he is always around the ball.

I agree, pkrjones. I like the OL picks, and the emphasis on defense, but NT is a priority. And, Green in the third? Hmmm. By the way, Arrigo- are you assuming that Raji is gone by #9?

OK, I like most of the picks, but a couple of things don't make sense. Too many LBs. We already have 6 and I suspect Kampy, Hunter and Thompson are added to the list. Adding 3 more means they have to cut 3-4 of them. One or two new ones at most. Same for DL. One DE candidate and one NT is plenty right now.

Last, not a chance in hell that Cadogan lasts until the 6th. It is likely that will all the teams who need OTs that Cadogan is gone in Rd2, 3 at the latest. Jason Williams on the other hand is projected in the 4-6th rounds. Maybe you should just switch them and this would look a lot more likely. tongue.gif

I'm fairly happy with this draft, and I really like the Meredith pick. I've heard, however, that Cadogan could go as high as the 3rd round. I'd lean towards somewhere in the 4th myself , but that's just me.

Any draft that involves us getting Larry English or BJ Raji would be fine by me.
