yeah, we already know about the three guys we signed, and resigned.

Vonnie Holliday 2 years 1.5 million a year
I don't see TT bringing him in until after the draft or sometime around draft time.

Draft

With the 9th overall pick, the Green Bay Packers trade down with the Denver Broncos for their 12th overall pick, 2nd round pick, and next years 3rd round pick. They select Mark Sanchez.

1. With the 12th overall pick, the Green Bay Packers select...

The Packers trade back and get the best NT in the draft, a perfect fit in the 3-4 and 4-3. TT laughs at the other teams for letting Raji slip. I see the 49ers taking Brown/Smith and the Bills taking Orakpo.

1b. Packers send Scott Wells, pick 41, third round pick received from NY Jets to Atlanta for their 24th overall pick, and their 125 pick(4th round)

With the 24th overall pick, the Green Bay Packers select...

They get one of the top pass rushers in the draft to play OLB and DE in the 3-4/4-3.

2a. Jamon Meredith, OT, South Carolina

3. Fili Moala, DE, USC

4a. Cody Brown, OLB, Connecticut

4b. Kevin Barnes, CB, Maryland

4c. Packers trade Al Harris to the Titans for their 130 pick(4th round) John Phillips, TE, Virginia

5. Devin Moore, RB, Wyoming

6a. Frantz Joseph, ILB, Florida Atlantic

6b. Graham Gano, P, Florida State

I would be very satisfied with that draft. I think Moala, Brown, and Barnes will all probably go higher than that, but I would be very happy if they didn't. This is probably one of the better mocks I have seen for talent, though I think it may be a bit optimistic.

Agreed. I'd be pretty pumped about that draft! I hope we can get the trade-down partner to make something like this happen. I really doubt Denver would give up that much to trade up 3 spots. Are they THAT desperate? Here's hopin' they are! tongue.gif

Great draft, excellent talent and really ups the ante as far as depth.

Not sure Holliday gets brought in if this is the draft though as cutting J. Jolly basically for him is unlikely.

Also doubt it a lot that Hunter and Thompson both make it, one of them is likely gone after a draft with two rookie outside backers. I'd like to see your sixth round lber on the practice squad to make room for one of Wynn (as a fb) or chillar.

i like that mock.....a lot.

I like this draft- though Raji slipping that far seems far-fetched. Other than that, I'd be very happy with these selections.

I don't see any teams above us drafting him.

The only teams that could really draft him are Oakland and Jacksonville. If Seattle drafts Crabtree, Sanchez falls to #8 where either Jacksonville or Denver will take hiim. If Seattle drafts Sanchez, Crabtree falls, probably all the way to Jacksonville. Both of these scenarios takes Jacksonville out of the picture, which leaves Oakland. I'm not to worried about them (the Raiders), but with Crazy Al at the helm, you never really know.

I'd love this draft. I do however doubt that you get Cody Brown in the 4th with several teams looking to put some guys in their 3-4 schemes. I don't think you'll be able to fleece the Broncos this badly. They can likely get the Jags pick for less and just bypass us. TT would be happy just to get a 3rd from the Broncos. He still gets his guy, gets him at a lower cost, and has that extra 3rd to move up or down, or maybe just to take a guy in that round that he thought he wouldn't have a shot of getting in the 4th - like Cody Brown happy.gif .

Al Davis likes speed and big names players. I see him taking DHB/Maclin.

We have leverage over the Broncos, they need to give up the 2nd in order to have similar value on the chart. They would add an third to sweeten the deal and allow them to move up.
