This scenario is built on the assumption that the Lions do NOT take a QB at #1, but hope to still get their guy like the Browns did with Quinn. It also assumes that one of the top 2 QB prospects is there at #9.
So the Lions trade #20 (850), #33 (580) and #65 (265) = 1695 points for #9 (1350), #73 (225) and #109 (76) = 1651 points. That would be a 44 point premium, but maybe they would pay it to outbid other teams. Or maybe we give them our 5th rounder or a future pick/player to even it up a bit.
With the #20 pick, the Packers select Tyson Jackson - DE LSU
Then the Packers package #41 (490) and #83 (175) = 665 points for Philly's #28 (660).
With the #28 pick, the Packers select Jarron Gilbert - DE San Jose St.
With the #33 pick, the Packers select Connor Barwin - LB Cinn.
With the #65 pick, the Packers select Troy Kropog - OT Tulane
I will leave it at that since I don't know enough about players further down - although I would target that punter with at least one of our 6th round picks or maybe even the 5th rounder.
