GB PACKMAN 4
Favre and Mangini discuss Brett coming to camp to help Quinn and Anderson learn the offense Brett ran in NY last year.

So in a couple of years do you see Favre being an assistant coach, involved with TV in some fashion, or riding his tractor and shooting deer in Mississippi?

In a couple of years I see him doing appearances for the Packers, collecting the $20mm.

I hope not.

Loved him as our QB, but man does he ramble.

Total BS by Mangini.

It's no big secret that Mangini blames Favre for his firing & is not too happy about it. Eric wanted to be able to coach in that division for many, many years but Favre's poor play cost him that opportunity.

Now he's extending an offer to Brett Favre, that he knows Favre will never accept in order to display counterfeit goodwill towards #4.

Some are reading way to much into things, imo

Why would Mangini even care?

That, and the fact that he just isn't a very good HC. dry.gif

meh, I don't understand this move, whats the point of paying a qb coach if you're going to bring someone else to help them with the playbook.

Preparing the young QB to read defenses is very valuable, imo. 18 years in the league, BF saw a lot of stuff and can help a young guy quite a bit, imo.

Brett won't do that.

We all know he'll be on Dancing with the Stars next season.

(Man...wouldn't that be hilarious?)

So much for the rumor that he and Mangini had issues...
