There have been several FA RB signings already. Most of the deals for guys around his level have been very reasonable IMO. If I remember correctly Maurice Morris recieved 3 years 7 mil. I think it would be worth getting Rhodes at a price in that area. I don't think that any teams have talked to him to this point.

Rhodes...?

Was he the guy with all the DUIs or the guy with all the kids?

DUIs. The other one would be former Denver RB Travis Henry, who has been out of the league for atleast a year.

I think this is one we should probably pass on.

You may be right but I brought it up because he is a recieving threat out of the backfield. I guess I didn't realize he is 30 years old but last year he looked pretty good when he did play. He for the most part has been a #2 back so he probably has more tread left on the tires than others his age. Also after further researching him we could probably get him for vet minimum. The risk would be next to zero in signing him and at the very least could push or take Wynn's spot.
Probably the least of the team's concerns right now but I guess I just feel like we should be doing something.

Jackson was the third down receiver for the Packers last year, until every time he came onto the field on third down, the defense would start yelling "screen". True story. The question being- who would he replace? Grant? Jackson? Wynn? Lumpkin?

Interesting thought, but I'd prefer a scatback type for a change of pace back.

At this juncture I think a back of Rhodes' quality could be found in the draft and of course would be much younger.

Rhodes? .....where we're going, we don't need Rhodes!

Classic. The funny thing is, I'll bet if you frizz TT's hair up a little bit there would be a striking resemblance to Christopher Lloyd.
