Profootball talk is saying that the Texan's will soon be cutting him. I think he would be a great fit in the new defense.

With the lack of interest there seems to be in Holliday and signs pointing towards Burnett signing elsewhere I really think we should give this guy a serious look. He looked like he was going to emerge as a very solid playmaker before he left the Raven's and their 3-4 defense. I really think Weaver could be a FA gem that is being lost in the shuffle.
If TT only signs one player out of the remaining FA pool I wish Weaver was that guy. That doesn't go with out saying that I think that it is ludicris not to at least bring Holliday in for a visit.

Signing Holliday should be a priority, for many reasons already cited. As far as Weaver, why not let Capers watch some tape on him, and give TT an opinion as to whether he would be worth a tryout?
OH Packer revisited
Weaver's best days were in the 3-4. I'm sure TT is just waiting for Weaver to get cut and to sign him and tell us he was waiting for weaver all along! smile.gif
