Here is some stuff from JSOnline

The Packers are trying hard to re signCole as back up nose and end according to Mc Ginn Interesting because last week Silverstein predicted they would have little interest in re signing him. not stout enough against run for NT and too short for DE.

Packers are one of few teams not interested interested in Canty according to Bedard. He predicts he will end up with a 4-3 team in a role similar to Jenkins last year- end on early downs, inside on passing downs. Given he can play for any style D and the fact that he is top DE out there he should get compensated very well

There is a reason O??? the DE from San Diego won't be back there; He has a reputation for being lazy and unfocused.

Sounds as if it will be even quieter in free agency than we thought it would be.

The Packers according to TT and Mc Carthy are taking a wait and see approach concerning Tauscher's knee. His agent said the Packers better move before some team snaps him up. I figured this was agent talk but there are some in the front office who are concerned he could move on.

No comment on the speculation about Holiday.
La Ment
PackerUpdate has an intriguing list of free agents that Thompson might consider, which fit his M.O. Holliday could be such a guy, but also the Redskin's Demetric Evans and the Pats Mike Wright. Evans wants to be a starter, based on what I read at Profootballtalk, and it doesn't seem like he would get the opportunity in Washington. These are under-the-radar types that might be good fits for what the Pack is trying to do and within TT's FA philosophy.
