Ive tried to remove my sig by highlighting and hitting delete, the box comes up empty and then when I hit "update" I get this:

Mine is saying the same thing except I want to change it to this

For some reason it wont let me add a signature. It kept saying it was too long. I even type 1 single letter and received the 'too long' message. Am I doing something wrong or are sigs banned?

The signature area has been cut down as it is not being used as intended.

Graphics or pictures do not constitute a 'signature'.

Are sigs just not allowed period now? Or is it rank based or something?

I wanted to change mine to an image, but after reading LMG's post above, I understand why I can't do that now. Which is fine...but I tried to just have a blank signature and its giving me the same error "signature is too long".

We are slowly phasing out of that feature.

Will photos in signatures like my photo of the 1919 Packers be eliminated/removed down the road?

I believe members can remove things from the signature area but cannot add back in.

Let me know if you cannot remove.

I, for one, am a huge fan of the signatures and all the variety and originality I have seen here.

I hope you decide to reverse course and allow people to use them again and change them as they like.

I have the same problem as Luvda, I cannot remove my existing sig (and I get the same 'sig is too long' message he got too).

I also like the idea of being a little creative with signatures, so long as they aren't completely huge or in bad taste. Primarily, it lets me find my posts on the page, otherwise it's darn near impossible.

There any way we could just get a size limit on signatures?

Hey guys . I am trying to update my sig and it errors out eveytime. It says sig to long. I have only 10 words I want . I have tried putting no words in and the same thing happens.

LMG, if you can still remove sigs, please remove mine, since it is impossible for me to.

My sig refers to the 2008 version of the D line. This year we are in a new system, have a new top pick (Raji), Cullen Jenkins is coming back, Kampy is moving to OLB, and Harrell might just get a proper training camp in. In short, my comment is now entirely inappropriate.
