I would like to bring him in. Didn't he have about 1,000 yeards under Mike Martz a few years ago? That would mean no more Ruvell probably though and we'd have to run more 5 wide. But he's a good player.

Mike is a good receiver. I just don't see the need to bring him in. We already have 5 good wideouts on the team. IMHO he'd have trouble even being the 3rd wideout if Jordy and Jones stay healthy. We have other, more pressing needs that could be addressed in FA. It's somewhat baffling why Detroit would let him go. I know he was hurt and what not. Maybe they're afraid he won't come back %100?

I don't think I'd bring him in. Besides Ruvell is our best blocking WR and he continues to improve. He'll never be high on te depth chart, but it doesn't hurt to have him on the team.

doesn't being cut by the all time worst team in NFL history in February say enough?

The guy has no chance on this team. If anything bring in a young guy to be the 5th WR.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks the Packers need another receiver; they have the best 1-5 core in the league.

James Jones would start on most teams, as would probably Jordy Nelson.

Furthermore, Ruvell Martin is very underrated and performs quite well for a number 5.

Furrey wouldn't make this team.
