Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch were both out, and the Titans still owned the Pittsburgh OL.

Now *that* is true DL depth.

I don't know what others thought, but every time I saw the highlight reel I wondered what it would take to trade for that Jason Jones rookie. Sigh.

It was very impressive.

It probably has something to do with coaching and scheme.

Which we don't have.

Very impressive. The upfield push those guys got was unbelievable. They just seemed to have a tenacity to get in the backfield. The Titans D was on fire for that game.

That is a big part of it. They stunt there lineman more than anyother team I have seen. They didnt go vanilla beacuse they were missing a couple of players.

Yea they might have more talent but they sure the hell have better D coaches. Our D coaches are so bad and uncreative. I love watching d's like Batimore, Pittsburg, Titans , Jags, Giants , Cowboys, and even Chicago. They bring it and bring it often.

If there is one thing Mike Reinfeldt can do, it is draft defense. Some of that team is Flloyd Reese, but the most recent and powerful additions came from Reinfeldt. On defense...Ball, Jones, Fowler, Griffin, etc.

Back to Jones though, his stat line was sick yesterday. That is how a you teach a rookie DT to play tackle. I rephrase my thought on which coaching tree I would MM to grab from..I said from Jim Johnson or Monte Kiffin, but now I think he needs to strongly look at that defense under Schwartz and Fisher. Schwartz has been consistent over his 8 years as DC, especially at stopping the run.

BTW - For those that got to watch that game, that D was absolutely awesome yesterday.
